Preserved Lemons
When life gives you lemons, get preserving!
Traditionally used in middle Eastern and Moroccan cuisine to compliment chicken dishes, this tangy super food is packed with Vitamin C. It destroys putrefactive bacteria in the mouth and intestines and freshens your breath. If you feel bloated after eating fatty foods, preserved lemon activates your liver and gallbladder to help with the digestion of fats. It’s delicious and super easy to make!

2 pounds of lemons
9 tablespoons of salt
1 stick of cinnamon
3 cloves
6 black pepper corns
6 cilantro seeds
